Collection: Muscular System

The Muscular System is responsible for generating the motor power required for all movements of the body, both voluntary and involuntary. It enables conscious movements such as walking, running, and lifting, while also facilitating essential, automatic functions such as breathing, food digestion, and blood circulation. This system consists of three types of muscles: skeletal muscles, which are attached to bones and control voluntary movements; smooth muscles, which control involuntary actions like digestion and blood flow; and cardiac muscle, which is responsible for the rhythmic contractions of the heart. Through its coordinated actions, the Muscular System supports overall bodily function, allowing for both physical activity and vital internal processes.
